Varsity Preps

The Weekly Sooner State Report

1. Caleb Colvin, 6′ 1″  240lbs..Owasso high school (2017, DL)- this is Aaron Colvins (OU,Sooner,DB)  younger brother, he is defensive line guy that has a nose for the ball and of course is going to be bigger than big brother.

2. Terrell Buchanan, 5′ 10″ 175lbs..Muskogee High School (2015, RB)- He was the starting tailback last season for Union HS in Tulsa. He has transferred to Muskogee and should be the stater for sure this year. Big physical back with decent speed.

3. Justin Silman, 5′ 11″  180 lbs..Tulsa Union (2014,RB)-This kid is a beast! Size, speed, great footwork… He is a workhorse who’s time has come, same style back as O-State back Jeremy Smith.

Underclassmen coming up:

1. Cooper Nunley, 5′ 11″ 170 Jenks (QB) 2016- He can make every throw already. He is the future of Jenks football, he played varsity as a freshman and that’s very rare for Coach Trimble and a loaded Jenks program. He is listed at 5′ 10, 160…a bit undersized but he is a player.

2. Jordan Davis, 5′ 10″  185lbs..Broken Arrow (2016, LB)-He reminds me of Ronnell Lewis that played at OU,  has good feet and lateral speed to make plays all over the field. He could be better than his predecessor Gyasi Akem who is an O-State commit.

This is a weekly report from our Oklahoma scout Coach C. Smith
