VTO Prep 100 Orlando Scouting Report from Coach Dunbar

2014 DB VTO Jersey #10 Jyquis Thomas – 6’1, 185 – Plant City High School

Big, physical kid with great speed. Thomas covers a lot of ground and has great ball skills. Little stiff in the hips which make me believe he will become a safety on the next level.

2014 DB/WR VTO Jersey #42 Jarviel Hart — 5’11, 160 – Avon Park HS

His measurables are not eye candy but the his skill set will blow you away. Not only is he fast and quick, but catches the ball very nice. Needs to work on route running skills which has room for growth. Once he get the route running down he will be a kid to watch for during the 2013 season.

2014 WR/ATH VTO Jersey Number #44 D’Amonte Knight — 6’0, 165 – Seminole HS

I really like this kid at the WR position. Ran great routes and making big catches during Indy time. Didn’t get a chance to see him much in 7 on 7 due to a foot injury.

2014 QB VTO Jersey #65 Kilton Anderson — 6’2, 205 – Naples High School

3.9 GPA/27 ACT

Can throw the deep balls. Has nice tight spirals. Has great velocity on the ball. Great footwork and body position in the pocket.

2015 QB VTO Jersey #81 Chris Riddle — 6’2, 180 – Sandalwood HS

Another QB who throws the ball with velocity and a tight spiral. Has nice ball placement on all routes and in coverage. Great movement in and out of the pocket.

2014 ATH VTO Jersey #94 Ezekiel Edmonds — 6’0, 200 – Royal Palm HS

I’ve seen him in two different camps and in both he shined. In March I saw him in the NFTC as a LB and he showed promise there. BUT…. At VTO, I was blown away by the fact that he played WR. I was expecting to see him in at LB and when I saw this kid run routes and make catches the way he did, I was totally surprised. The “ATH” title fits him perfectly.
