Talent Overview: Eddins is a versatile and athletic football prospect that is going into his senior season looked upon as a not only a playmaker for his high school team but also a leader that could help take them to a Tennessee state title. Eddins plays on both sides of the ball but could have the biggest impact on offense in college. He is an athletic pass catcher that could line up at TE or play half-back in the backfield. Eddins has outstanding speed and uses it well finding open holes in the defense. His athleticism gives him an advantage over defenders. He can get off the line in a hurry and make the reception before anyone knows it. Eddins is a definite down the field threat because of his speed and natural pass receiving abilities.

On defense, Eddins offers a pass rusher that has the speed and athleticism to get around the edge while also giving support with the run. He is a little slight in weight to offer immediate help at this position but could potentially grow into a productive sack artist. Eddins has enough athleticism to stand up on defense as well. Outside Linebacker in a 3-4 defense could be a possible destination position for Eddins. His speed off the edge and ability to get after the QB could be intriguing to college coaches.

Overall, Eddins has a lot of potential to grow into a BCS prospect. He is a smart young man both in the classroom and on the football field that works hard day in and day out. His work ethic is strong and his ability to grow as a football player should give him an opportunity to play Division 1 college football.

Current Status: Going into the summer off-season, Eddins has yet to receive his 1st official offer but interest from BCS as well as Division 1 programs is there. Eddins has been to multiple camps over the past 2 years and is hoping all his hard work is close to paying off. Schools like MTSU, Duke, Cincinnati, Louisville, Memphis, Appalachian St and Richmond have shown strong interest while other bigger schools are wanting to see Eddins compete at their camps. MTSU and Duke are two schools that have shown quite a deal of interest and Eddins himself believes his 1st offer could come from either two.

Prospect Review: Eddins is hoping another long summer of camps and visits finally lead to college offers. He has attending camps all over the south competing against other high profile prospects but for some reason his stock has yet to rise. Eddins has performed well against other high level competition with college coaches sending praise his way for his performances. An offer has yet to arrive so that means Eddins must continue to attend camps and continue to make a name for himself. A big senior season should help his case. Eddins is going into his senior year as one of the top offensive threats in the Knoxville, TN area. Soon enough Eddins will surely see college offers come his way but in the mean time he must continue to work hard and strive to be noticed. He certainly has the talents and potential to play D1 football. Eddins is a definite sleeper prospect that could pay big rewards for whatever program he eventually plays for.
