Position: Ath (WR/DB)

Talent Overview: Jackson is a very athletic prospect that has the size and speed to compete on either side of the ball. He is a fluid and smooth prospect that makes things look easy with his game play. Jackson’s length gives him an advantage at both receiver and defensive back. He is long and the has arm length to make plays high in the air when other can’t. Jackson does a good job of going up after the ball at it’s highest point and snatching it with his glue like hands.

At cornerback, Jackson has the look of today’s cover corners where he is big and long. His size on defense is trouble for receivers that are either too small or don’t have the speed to get around his length. Jackson does well at staying on top of his man and keeping his eyes glued on the football. He is also a physical player that enjoys contact and does well at jamming the receiver on the line of scrimmage.

On offense, Jackson is an excellent receiver that runs good routes along with the ability of finding open holes in the defense. He is a total ball hawk that just goes after ball regardless of where it is. His potential on either side of the ball is strong and could offer a college team versatility, natural athleticism and the work ethic needed to compete on the Division 1 level.

Current Status: Jackson is an undervalued prospect that currently sits with no official offers but is receiving interest. He is interested in leaving home to play his college ball but would love to stay down south. Schools like Ole Miss, Mississippi St, Kentucky, MTSU, North Carolina and Western Kentucky have taken a slight interest Jackson and could look to get more involved down the road. He has yet to take any visits or attend many camps but plans are to hit the road this summer in hopes of garnering college offers.

Prospect Review: The state of Georgia is loaded with BCS level talent and Jackson certainly has the traits to compete with the best of the best. He has a great attitude and works hard both on and off the field. Jackson currently carries a GPA of 3.0 and focuses hard on being the best he can be in both athletics and academics. He is a confident young man that believes he play with any talent in the country. His length and athleticism gives him a shot to reach the next level. Jackson just needs to put himself into college camps this summer and once he does that he is sure to see the offers began to come his way.
