Update: Whitehouse 2014 LB, Reggie Long awaits offer

Whitehouse HS (Whitehouse, TX) Senior LB, Reggie “All Day” Long II, (6’0, 215, 4.66/40) is an explosive, physical nightmare for opposing offensive players.  Long racked up 92 tackles, 5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, 2 INT’s and scored 1 TD in his final year for the Wildcats.  Of his 92 tackles, Long registered 13 tackles for loss.

Head Coach Adam Cook said, “Reggie is a highly motivated young man who loves to play football!  He has great instincts at the Linebacker position and is always around the ball!  Reggie is a very good tackler with a bright future!”

Reggie Long II Junior Highlights on

Long is really good at getting off the block and is a sure tackler. He has great instincts to hit the gaps and plug the holes to blow up the play before it gets started. He never gives up on a play and gets great penetration to the QB. Long runs a 4.66/40, but has great “football speed”.

Long told Varsity Preps yesterday that he just made “A Honor roll” and has a 3,38 GPA. He plans on taking the ACT in January. Long has offers from Army, Navy, Texas A&M-Commerce, Central Arkansas and New Mexico State. He plans on majoring in Accounting and is hoping to get an offer from Texas State.
