UGA Adds Blazevich to Commitment List

One of the top tight end threats in the country for the 2014 recruiting is Jeb Blazevich and today he decided to take his talents to Athens, Ga and play his football with the Georgia Bulldogs.

Coming from Charlotte Christian HS in North Carolina, Blazevich is a dynamic pass catcher that was pursued by just about every top program in the country. His talents was sought out by many but ultimately he choose the Bulldogs over Ole Miss, Alabama, Clemson, UNC and Notre Dame.

Blazevich has been a hotly recruited prospect since last summer and may thought he would keep his talents in the south.

Not too long ago Blazevich cut down his offer list to a top 6 and Georgia then looked to be a favorite to attain his commitment. A tough battle between the Bulldogs and Rebels is what people saw with Blazevich’s recruitment and many thought Ole Miss could be the team to beat.

Blazevich has family ties to Oxford, MS but the feeling he got with the Georgia coaching staff and ability to play in their offense. His commitment is big for the Bulldogs as they have found a player that can become a serious receiving threat but also become a leader for the Georgia football team in the future.

Georgia has had success recruiting in the state of North Carolina for quite some time and looks to be even stronger now with the commitment of Blazevich.

The Bulldogs now have a total of 4 commitments thus far for their 2014 recruiting class. Blazevich is the top prospect to commit to the Bulldogs at this time and could become a serious difference maker in the Georgia offense down the road.

Offers: Georgia (Committed), Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Duke, UL Lafayette, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, UNC, Notre Dame, Ohio St, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
