Toledo Offer Excites Senior

The University of Toledo has been putting more efforts into recruiting the state of Florida and over the weekend they extended an offer to 2014 WR David Senior from Boyd Anderson HS (FL) and the Rockets offer has already made a big impression on the South Fla wide out.

“My newest offer from Toledo really intrigues me because I love the way they run their offense and I think I could be a perfect fit in their style of play, said Senior.”

“Coaches contacted me over the weekend and told me that they are really impressed with my abilities and wanted to offer me on the spot. They said they see me as a playmaker in their offense. I really loved talking with them and I plan to stay in contact with them as much as I can.”

Senior is a quick rising prospect that has now collected 6 official college offers. His talents have began to go noticed and could very soon see his recruitment take off into a direction that see’s BCS programs come his way.

So far his offer sheet consists over mid major D1 programs but according to Senior he is completely ok with that and is just looking to enjoy the time he has while he is a recruited football player.

“I am a humble and patient young man that is grateful for the attention I am receiving and for the options I have that allows me to have a future in college,” he said. “I currently have no favorites as I am real interested in everyone interested in me. I am taking my process slow and just sitting back enjoying the ride waiting to see what happens next.”

Several schools from the BCS level have been in contact recently with Senior. They have been checking in trying to gain as much information on Senior as they can.

The spring evaluation period opened last week with multiple college coaches hitting the road looking to visit recruits in person. Senior hasn’t seen many coaches as of yet but soon he is planning to see several at spring practice where they hope to get a glimpse of his abilities.

“The schools I have heard the most from who said they want to see me in practice are Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Cincinnati, Clemson, Oregon, West Virginia, App State, Marshall and Fla Atlantic,” says Senior. “All the coaches say they really are interested in seeing what I can in person. I plan to work hard everyday in spring practice not only to get better but also hopefully impress some coaches.”

Before the summer begins, Senior plans to put together a list of his top 6 schools and then focus his attention on them. He would like to ultimately make a decision before the start of his senior year but if it takes longer than that then that is ok.

Toledo is one school that looks to stay in the picture regardless of what happens with Senior’s recruitment. The Rockets have made an early impression on the Boyd Anderson HS product and later this summer Senior wants to make it up to the state of Ohio to get a 1st hand look at the Toledo campus.

“I definitely plan to take a visit to Toledo at some point in time,” Senior said. “I like a lot about their program right now so getting a chance to see everything they have to offer in person is something I am excited about doing.”

“I have no clue where my recruitment will lead me at this time but I do plan to stay in touch with the coaches at Toledo. They seemed they great people and I am very interested in learning more about the possibility of becoming a future Rocket.”
