TD Moton Commits to Alabama

Alabama got some major recruiting news today when the staff landed a commitment from four-star defensive tackle T.D Moton.

Moton gave his commitment to Coach Saban and Napier while on campus today.

“Alabama just really feels like home. I really like the staff and I have developed a strong bond with Coach Napier.”

Moton, a 6’3 320 standout junior prospect at Woodlawn High in Shreveport,  is one of the top ranked defensive lineman in the country.

“I’m just glad to get this recruiting over with.” Moton said.

Before transferring to Woodlawn,  Moton helped lead Calvary Baptist into the playoffs with  30 solo tackles,  55 assisted tackles, 1 FF, 1 FR, 2 sacks.

The 2015 standout decided to shut down his recruitment early despite having offers from Notre Dame, Florida State and Texas A&M.

“I really just wanted to get this over with so I can concentrate on my academics and the upcoming football season.”
