2018 Slade Bolden is one of several up and coming talented players for the West Monroe football program.  Bolden has certainly turned some heads early with his talents both on the football and baseball field for the Rebels.  In his first two seasons Bolden has captured All District Honors (2014 Football, 2015 Football/Baseball) All NELA (Football), and All State Honors (2015 Football).  Bolden has also received the Cooper Buick GMC High School Hero Award on three separate occasions, been named to the Aaron Aces Team, and in 2015 he added the All Ouachita Parish Most Valuable Offensive Player Award.

Bolden is more than just a standout student athlete in two sports, he also takes care of his academic endeavors.  He maintains a 4.0 GPA and is part of the MagnaTech program at West Monroe High School.

This spring and summer Bolden will be working hard during the offseason to get better for his team, as well as, playing for the Marucci Elite Baseball Organization and The Bootleggers 7 on 7 Tournament team, when possible.

What will be the determining factor in choosing your college university? Playing time is important and major in college
What is your “Dream College/University?” Why would you like to attend this school?
That would have to be TCU.  They have an awesome facility with great coaches and a place I know I can have the opportunity to contribute.
What is your favorite college football conference? SEC
Who Influences you the most in your academic and athletic endeavors? My boy Christian McCaffrey
Is Early playing time important? Yes
Importance of playing close to home? Driving distance would be a consideration because that way it would be an easy for my family to come watch us play.
