Quinn Farrell Bishop Verot High School Ft. Myers Florida

Quinn Farrell is a 6’2” 200 lb. pro style quarterback from Bishop Verot high school in Ft. Myers Florida. He is starting to get some serious attention after a strong junior season and some strong recent showings at elite camps.  Even after breaking a bone in his throwing wrist during the first game of the season, he played through the injury and still managed over 1,300 yards passing, nearly 300 yards rushing and 11 total touchdowns during his junior campaign, leading Verot to a 6-4 record and a Class 2A state playoff berth.

He has his eyes set on Verot’s all-time career passing mark this fall which incidentally is held by his current quarterback coach and mentor Josh Vogelbach; a Verot grad and a personal QB coach who still holds 19 NCAA DIII passing records himself.  “Josh has taught me so much about throwing mechanics, reading coverages and the proper way to approach the game, but he has also taught me the value of humility and leading by example. I couldn’t have asked for a better role model” says Farrell.  Vogelbach says “Quinn can make all the throws but more importantly he makes the right decisions with the football. He’s an outstanding leader with strong character and some school is going to hit the jackpot with him.”

Their work together is starting to yield results as Quinn recently won the QB MVP Award at the NUC All South Combine in January. He hopes to build on his success at the upcoming Elite 11 regionals in Orlando on March 14th.  So far, Quinn has camped at Louisville, USF and FAU and has taken an unofficial visit to Nebraska. He is getting additional interest from Missouri, Auburn, Iowa State and Stanford.
