On the way up… (Kentucky Football)

Football in the state of Kentucky is on the way up. In the coming years, starting next year, you will see major changes. Just give it time. I’ve had the chance to speak to some Kentucky talent along with some other Football recruits recently.

First we have, Darrian Scott. ( @TreScott40 )

6’1, 235 pound Defensive End for the Class of 2015

High School Team: Bowling Green Purples who recently won the Gridiron Bowl Class 5A State Championship.

He’s currently only being recruited by Campbellsville University, but he’s staying positive and say’s:

“After my football season alot more schools will be contacting me.”

He is one of the top 2 Defensive Ends in the state since he became cleared to play this year. Also, due to a transfer of schools he’s the 2nd leading tackler in his class in the state of Kentucky. Kentucky is showing some interest in Scott. He also revealed that he will be attending a UK came this summer. He began playing Football at the age of 6, and from then it’s all history.

When asked what factors he will be looking at to help make his decision he said:

“Coaches, to see how good they are around the players and a great fan base; Most of all my family, they will have a little impact on my decision”

His best strengths:

“My speed, getting off blocks and making secured tackles.”
