NextUP: Council Rock North 2016 QB Brandon McIlwain

A name college coaches need to become familiar with quickly, is Brandon McIlwain of Council Rock North (PA) High School. It will not be long before the rest of the nation finds out who this dynamic athlete is. Standing 6’1 already and weighing 190lbs as a freshman, we expect not only for his stature to grow, but also his popularity.

Immediately, McIlwain’s athletic ability and arm strength jumps out at you when watching his highlight film. Literally, the first play will have you saying “oh yea, he can play!” The freshman phenom accounted for 20 total touchdowns and over 2,000 total yards his past fall. A few college coaches are aware of Mcllwain’s talent as he  is currently hearing from Penn State and Rutgers.

His summer plans include attending one day camps at South Carolina, Penn State and Cincinnati. The young QB is always trying to get better, as he has trained  under the tutelage of quarterback guru Will Hewlett since age 10. Look for Brandon McIlwain to become a household name in the near future as he is poised to be one of the top prospects in the class of 2016.
