Nevada leading pack for So. Calif. DB Moody

Nevada moved to the front of the pack for the services of Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, Calif.) senior cornerback Elijah Moody.

Moody took a visit to Nevada back in July and was enamored with the campus, program and the coaches. The Class of 2014 corner confirmed the Wolf Pack is still his No. 1 suitor at this point.

He’s kept consistent contact with the coaching staff since the trip.

“I’ve just been trying to build a good relationship with the coaches up there and so far it’s going very well,” Moody said. “Coach Thomas and Coach Polian are two great guys as well as coaches.”

He said he also thinks the Wolf Pack will reach an audience beyond the West Coast very soon.

“I believe that Nevada is going to turn a lot of heads within the next few years,” Moody said. “Coach Polian is doing something special with that team.”
