Middle Creek WR Likes Wolfpack

2014 WR Curtis Burston (Middle Creek HS, NC) took an unofficial visit yesterday to North Carolina State University and had the chance to mingle with Wolfpack coaching staff as well as current NC State football players.

He took in the visit so well that when leaving the Raleigh campus he thought NC State could be a place he see’s himself spending his college days at.

“I really enjoyed myself yesterday and I plan on going back again very soon. It was a beautiful campus and the coaches were great. I could see myself wearing the black and red, said Burston.”

The one thing holding Burston back from giving NC State all his attention needed is because the Wolfpack have yet to offer. There is hope after his unofficial visit that an official offer could come soon.

“I really hope I get an offer from them because I like them a lot and they a great new coaching staff,” Burston says. “It’s close to home and it’s place I can see myself succeeding at. No offer yet but hopefully soon that will change.”

Burston is a dynamic weapon on offense that has the needed physicality and athleticism to compete on the BCS level. He has collected one BCS offer from Boston College and is picking major interest every day.

His plan this summer it hit several camps around the country in hopes of garnering more interest. Burston knows he has a long way to go but continues to work hard thinking bigger schools will eventually get involved.

“I have been hearing a lot from UNC, NC State, Wake Forest, East Carolina, Duke and App State,” he said. “Those are main schools talking to me right now along with my offered schools but I know there is tons of time remaining for more programs to get involved. I am just remaining patient and taking my time throughout my process.”

Offers: Boston College, Furman, Hampton and Old Dominion. Schools Interested: Appalachian St, Duke, East Carolina, Louisville, Navy, North Carolina, North Carolina St, Wake Forest and West Virginia.
