Meet 2015 WR Alex Ofodile

2015 WR Alex Ofodile (6’3, 190, 4.5/40) Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Missouri currently holds four offers from Memphis, Northwestern, Kentucky and Vanderbilt. Missouri is also expressing interest.

The Rock Bridge High WR has two camps planned: he’ll be camping at Kentucky July 19th and Kansas State July 27th.  Ofodile did say he may be on UK’s campus on the 18th.

When he selects a program, he will be looking at these factors: relationship with the coaching staff, quality of the strength and conditioning program, style of offense, and personalities of the current players and recruits.

Ofodile told Varsity Preps what makes him an elite player. “My route running ability and getting open downfield makes me an attractive prospect.”

He talked about the programs recruiting him and named a frontrunner. “I like Memphis, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Northwestern. Memphis is my current leader with Northwestern and Kentucky a close second. However, if the Kentucky camp goes well then they could take the top spot in my recruitment.” He’ll make his college choice during the season.

Ofodile wants to elevate his game to become an impact player. The improvements he would like to make include “be more aggressive after the catch and turning initial small yardage plays into a longer gains.”
