Meet 2016 QB Austin Kendall, 6-2 196, Cuthbertson High School, Waxhaw, NC

Coach Warren: Facilities, uniforms, tradition, coaching staff, education? Which factor or combination of factors will be most important in your school choice?

AK: Education, a good relationship with my coaches and everything else are all factors to when I make my choice.

Coach Warren: School location, is playing closer to home a big deal?

AK: No, wherever the best opportunity for me is.

Coach Warren: Early playing time, is that important?

AK: It is to an extent.

Coach Warren: What was you favorite college team growing up?

AK: Ohio State and Georgia.

Coach Warren: Have you been invited to any Jr. Days or combines?

AK: NC State, Bowling Green, and Toledo. Adidas Invitational in Detroit, VTO listed top 5, MVP Camp in Atlanta.

Coach Warren: Who are you receiving mail from? Who’s recruiting you?

AK: UNC, NC State, UNCC, Toledo, Bowling Green

Coach Warren: Favorites? What stands out about your favorites?

AK: I don’t have any favorites yet.

Coach Warren: Have you taken any unofficial visits, are you planning some now?

AK: NC State, Toledo, and Bowling Green.

Coach Warren: What schools are you interested in?

AK: UNC, NC State, Georgia, Ohio State, Clemson, Toledo, Bowling Green and UNC Charlotte. I’m not sure on the rest because its early in the process for me.

Coach Warren: What schools have offered you?

AK: None yet.

Coach Warren: What are your camp plans for the summer?

AK: Sound Mind Sound Body, Michigan, Michigan St., Ohio State, Georgia, Virginia, Wake Forest and there’s a few more.

Coach Warren: What will be the determining factor in choosing your school?

AK: A system that fits me, a good relationship with my coaches, a school that I would want to go to even if I wasn’t playing football, and a university that has the right education for me.

Coach Warren: What person has inspired you the most in your life and why?

AK: My father he’s helped me the most in my life and he’s always been there through the ups and downs in my life.
