Meet 2014 TX ATH Vincent Wilson

VP had the pleasure of interviewing Vincent Wilson, who hails from Del Valle, Texas. Vincent is a versatile athlete at Del Valle High School. Let’s learn what Vincent had to tell us in his recent interview:

Patrick: What position, class and school do you currently attend?
Vincent: “My primary position is CB. Class of 2014, and I currently attend Del Valle High School.”

Patrick: What is your current height and playing weight?
Vincent: “5’9 & 152 pounds.”

Patrick: What was your fastest 40 time?
Vincent: “My last 40 time was a 4.64. I am in the process of getting my 40 time better.”

Patrick: Which schools are currently recruiting you the hardest?
Vincent: “North Texas, Southwest Baptist and Nebraska.”

Patrick: Do you have any visits planned or schools that you’d like to visit?
Vincent: “No, I have no visit yet. I would like to visit UK, Boise State & Alabama.”

Patrick: “Are you trying to attend any camps?
Vincent: “Yes, I have received multiple cam invites. I was invited to Texas Tech, Southwest Baptisit and FBU. I have already attended North Texas camp.”

Patrick: What schools have offered you?
Vincent: “I have no offers currently. I would like the following schools to offer me though, FSU, Cal, Alabama, Oklahoma, Boise State, Arkansas, Washington and Kentucky.”

Patrick: What are a some of the factors you will be looking at or for the most in helping you to find the right fit?
Vincent: “A school that a good scholarship program, great fan base.”

Patrick: What strengths do you bring to the field and what should fans look for in your game?
Vincent: “My awareness of where the ball is and watching the WR hip placement at the same time. One thing fans should look for is my my ability to make plays, my leadership and my character on & off the field.”

Patrick: What things are you working on the most this Summer to improve your game?
Vincent: “I am the type of guy that is not satisfied with where I am. I always want more, so I am improving my entire game.”
