Mariscal to take unofficial visit for USC home opener

USC reached out to Liberty’s (Bakersfield, Calif.) Anthony Mariscal and the Class of 2015 running back/cornerback will taking an unofficial visit for the Trojans’ home opener on Saturday against Pac-12 foe Washington State.

Last week the Trojans defeated Hawai’i, 30-13, to move to 1-0 on the year. Saturday’s game against the Cougars will be USC’s first of the season at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Mariscal opened his own high school season with 153 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries.

Mariscal has also been in communication with Colorado and Arizona over the summer, but USC has reportedly been the most aggressive.
