Makari Henry: Class of 2016 Spotlight

SHREVEPORT – Calvary Baptist Academy have been racking up offers and looks from colleges over the past year, especially after the Calvary Cavaliers beat Archbishop Hannan 62–7 in the Division III 2013 state championship game.

One of the players from Calvary, who is moving into many college’s cross arrows is junior Makari Henry.

Henry is a 6’1”, 200-pound middle linebacker (MLB) and outside linebacker (OLB), who exemplifies speed and strength by running a 4.7 on the 40-yard dash and maxing out at 205 pounds on the bench press and 300 pounds squatting.

Although Henry has not had any offers so far, he has received interests from a few colleges.

Henry has already received letters from Clemson, Arizona, University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM), Texas Tech and University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL).
