Louisiana isn’t known for producing many quality quarterbacks, but 2016 could prove to be the year of the quarterback in the Pelican State. In part 8 of this series we will be providing an in-depth examination of Lindsey Scott Jr., one of the top quarterbacks in the class of 2016.


Good touch and placement on the deep ball.

Senses the rush, remains calm, and moves around in the pocket to buy time.

Still very accurate getting outside the pocket and throwing on the move.

Ability to make plays with his arms or legs.

Strong arm.

Throws well on rollouts.

Consistently keeps his eyes downfield looking for the open receiver.

Possesses a quick release.

Great feet.

Displays outstanding field vision, and quickly locates the open receiver. Very good at selling ball fakes.



Scott led his team to the State quarterfinals this season.
