Lavan Alston C/O 2015 Spotlight

St. Bonaventure is known for producing major FBS prospects and it will have one of the state’s best in 2015 in Lavan Alston.

The 6’0” 170 speedster bolted to the top of recruiting boards after an impressive summer on the camp circuit to go along with an impressive film.

“I camped at USC, Texas and Miami. I did very well at all three.”

Coaches are still evaluating Alston, but he feels like a few are close to pulling the trigger.

“I’m hearing from Oregon, USC, Arizona, Azusa Pacific, Vanderbilt and Cal. But I would also like to hear from Alabama, Florida, LSU and UCLA.”

Alston hasn’t thought about what schools or conferences he would like to play in, but a few programs do stand out.

“Oregon, Cal, USC, LSU and Arizona definitely stand out to me. I really like LSU’s offense and how they get the ball to their receivers in space. They trust their receivers to make a play no matter where the ball placement is, that is very important to me.”

Shortly after this interview Alston received an offer from Oregon State

Compares his game to Marquese Lee, Tavon Austin and Stedman Baily.

Invited to the Rivals Camp Series.
