Kosnitzky’s Korner: School Grade and State Finalists

More importantly than success on the field is success in the classroom. As we know, football and athletics is one tool and often a secondary means to shape our students into becoming productive members of society. This week, the Florida Department of Education released the school grades for all of their “public” high schools across the state. In simple terms, each school is assessed from a letter grade of A to F based mainly on items such as student achievement to graduation rates.

With the timing of this information so closely aligned to the FHSAA State Finals, we thought it would be interesting to see our teams from this past two weekends fared in this academic measure.
