Justin Pitts: Class of 2016 Spotlight

ILLINOIS – The 2016 recruiting class is considered one of the best recruiting classes in the past few years, there are a few diamonds left in the rough.

Glenbard North’s CB/SS, Justin Pitts, is one of those diamonds.

Compiling 5 interceptions, 14 pass breakups, 25 solo tackles and 3 touchdowns last season, Pitts received All-Conference honors and named NUC All-American.

With last season’s performance, the 5’10”, 150-pound senior has been brining in interests from Drake, Northern Illinois and Illinois State and picked up offers from Robert Morris University and University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.

Along with his success on the field, the 5’10”, 150-pound senior also currently has a 3.0 GPA and a 21 on the ACT while participating in track.

As Pitts increases in his leadership and dominance on the field, his love for the game started at a much younger age.

“I’ve been playing (football) for nine years now,” Pitts said. “I’ve always liked football my whole life.”

Entering into another season, Pitts’ is known to be a “work-horse” and will make a good asset to any roster.
