Jeffrey Vaccaro: 2015 Spotlight Louisiana

Jeffrey Vaccaro; is one of several talented young football players that has stood out in the film I have viewed recently. Vaccaro is one of the most versatile players at his position I have seen over the course of watching film of 2015 recruits. Vaccaro is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and even though Louisiana may not be the first state to come to mind when you think football powerhouses, the state has always produced a large number of division one athletes. Vaccaro, at 6’1 and 200 pounds, is the right size for the position he plays and, considering how mobile he is, his size is an advantage.

Vaccaro has two years of film that indicate he is an athletic quarterback and can do just about anything on the field that is necessary to put his team in a position to win the game. The list of colleges that have been evaluating Vaccaro is impressive, especially when you consider the number of conferences that are represented. Vaccaro is being recruited by Princeton, Fordham, Pennsylvania, Arizona State, and Miami just to name a few. However, Vaccaro has many schools more on the list that are making a push for him. Vaccaro has a large number of schools wanting him to attend their camps during the summer.

For every recruit that I do spotlight articles on, I personally interview and talk to these young me to get a sense of the kind of individual they are. I have to say that Vaccaro is one of the most humble young men and gracious young men I have interviewed during this offseason. Jeffrey is very team orientated and has set high goals for his team and even higher expectations of himself this season for St. Michael The Archangel in Baton Rouge. Vaccaro is determined enough and has more than enough skill and talent on the field to help accomplish the goals he has set for himself and the team. That determination and skill set will further take shape and develop during the offseason and will make Vaccaro and his teammates a force to be reckoned with this fall. With schools from the Ivy League, PAC-12, ACC, and others recruiting Jeffrey, I have no doubt that he will accomplish great things during the course of the 2014 season and beyond at the school where he chooses to play college ball. I look forward to following his progress as the year goes on because I believe the best is yet to come for Jeffrey. Stay tuned, folks, Jeffrey Vaccaro is going to be a good one.
