Introducing Greyson Bankhead

Greyson Bankhead (5’10, 155, 4.5/40) plays at Corona Centennial HS in Corona, CA. Bankhead currently has no offers, but is getting interest from Colorado, California, Utah, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Arizona State, Colorado State and Washington State.  His current junior year stats consist of 30 catches for 300 plus yards and 1 TD.

Bankhead discusses who is in top 5. “My top 5 insist of UCLA, Cal, USC, Boise State and Oregon. I like Oregon because its so beautiful down there and Boise State fits my type with the fast tempo spread offense.” He currently has no frontrunners.

He tells Varsity Preps what makes him an attractive prospect to programs looking at him. “I bring speed and quickness at the WR position. I want to be the guy that makes the big plays.”

The junior standout talked about what he’s seeking from a college program. “I want to see how the coaches are and if I will get a chance to play early. I will also be looking for the “home” feeling with the campus. I want to be sure the program I choose is the right fit for me. Distance is a factor as I would love to stay close to my family, but not opposed of going to east coast if the school is the right fit for me.” His main concern is making sure the program is the best fit for him.

He has no timetable on making an decision.
