For years, East Texas schools have produced some of the most top-notch D1 talent. The region is known for producing countless stars that began their football careers in the corner of the ‘Lone-Star’ state.

With over 30 players in the 2014 class receiving scholarship offers, Deyanta Roberson looks to continue that trend in 2015.

2015 WR Deyanta Roberson (6’2 185 4.46 Tatum HS, Tatum, TX) has yet to receive an offer, but is picking up interest from SEC, PAC-12 and BIG 12 programs.

“I’m hearing from Oregon, Texas Tech, Baylor and Missouri.”

The junior standout told Varsity Preps that Baylor and Oregon are his favorites.

“Baylor was my favorite team growing up, but I will base my decision on the coaches at the school, and how many seniors they have on their roster.”

Roberson is showing schools a reason to offer him, having a good season so far by snagging 25 passes for 403 yards in a run heavy offense.
