Dale Talks Mississippi State

Looking at the state of Louisiana for the class of 2015, there is very little doubt that the state will be loaded again.  Whether it be explosive wide receivers, big hitting safeties, solid signal callers, or big men on either line, the Boot will have players at several positions that can help you win and be key additions to your roster.

There is very little doubt that one of the top players in the “Boot” for 2015 is John Curtis Christian defensive back Hunter Dale.  The hard hitting 6 foot  180 pound safety prospect has collected several offers already and has made a few visits to check some others out.  With his spring winding down, Dale has one more trip planned and  will catch up with his family.

Dale knows that in order to stay at the top of his class, he will need to put in all the hard work he can to be successful.  Hard work is not an issue for Dale, however, and he works every day to get where he wants to be.

“I have been going and training at a place called The Sonic Boom,” said Dale.  “I am working very hard on getting to be more explosive.  I am working hard on my explosion right now.”

The last visit on Dale’s list this spring is a trip to Starkville, MS to watch the Mississippi State Bulldogs spring game.  While he has received several offers, the one from the Bulldogs holds a special place in Dale’s heart.

“I like the fact that they didn’t have to wait until I got older to give me that offer,” he said.  “The saw me and they liked me and they went ahead and let me know that they want me.  I have a good relationship with Coach Knox.  I have not talked to him on the phone lately but we have a very good bond either way.

Having family on campus in Starkville is a big thing for the talented play-making safety.  He knows that if he goes there, he will have a chance to do something very special.

“Having Torrey (Dale) at Mississippi State makes them a top school,” he said.  “I would love to be able to play football with my cousin at the next level.  Mississippi State is going to be the last place that I visit this spring.  I will be there for the spring game.  I don’t really have a leader or anything right now.  I have not even thought about all that just yet.”
