C/O 2015 Spotlight: Shun Brown

2015 DB Shun Brown (5’11 175) of Calvary Baptist Academy in Shreveport (LA) has verbal offers from TSU, UAPB, Alabama State and Grambling.

The Calvary Baptist Academy standout has seen his recruitment pick up steam after a solid sophomore season and a full summer on the camp circuit.

“Right now I’m hearing from LSU, USC, Florida State, Ole Miss, Georgia, Oregon, UCLA, Vandy, Texas, Notre Dame, Miss State, Bama, Texas &M and Oklahoma State.”

Brown has yet to receive an offer from a FBS school, but he feels like a few are coming soon.

“I feel I’m close to getting offers from Florida State, Oklahoma State and LSU.”


Brown is has the ability to instantaneously change the momentum of game with big plays on defense or in the return game.

This past summer Brown camped at Texas, LSU and Alabama. He was a guest at the Oklahoma State and the Louisiana Lafayette camp.

All-City as a Sophomore

Stats as sophomore 6 interceptions. 70 tackles 18 catches for 211 yards, and a total of eight TDs.

Brown is seeing action at WR for Calvary this season.

Is the son of Grambling State offensive coordinator Vyron Brown.

“Being the son of a coach has really helped me out a lot. I grew up around coaches, I know how they think”

Also a starter on the basketball team.
