Caruso Excited for Summer Plans

Florida Atlantic University became the newest offer for 2014 Palm Beach Gardens HS (FL) QB J.P. Caruso and he is excited about where his recruitment could lead after a summer of visits and camps.

Caruso (6’2 195 lbs) has collected 13 official college offers and might be on the verge of seeing his offer list explode. He is an athletic signal caller that has all the talents needed to play on the BCS level but just needs coaches to believe in his abilities.

“My plan this summer is to prove to any and all coaches that I am good enough to play on the biggest stage of college football and that I am worthy of a college scholarship, said Caruso.”

Multiple college programs have been intrigued by the talents of Caruso and are wanting to see him in camp to get a better evaluation on him.

Caruso has yet to set up any official dates for camps but is currently in the process of going through his options and finding the schools he wants to see the most.

“I do know I plan to at least visit every school that has currently offered me as well as try to see some schools that are heavily interested,” Caruso said. “I don’t have any favorites right now. I am wide open to every school recruiting me and I want to give everyone an equal opportunity.”

This week Caruso puts an end to his junior year of high school. He is now set to become a senior and an important figure on the Palm Beach Gardens high school football team.

He wants to spend as much time with his high school team this summer preparing for his senior season but also wants to put in several hours on the road giving himself a better chance at earning college offers.

Caruso is a talented QB that has a lot of potential and the abilities to compete with anyone in college football. He see’s this offseason as a place to continue getting better but also prove to those in the need that he is one of best quarterbacks in the southeast region.

“I am in no rush with my process right now. I am looking forward to improving on my game but also showing everyone that I am one of the best passers in the 2014 recruiting class, said Caruso.”

“The interest from college coaches has been good but not nearly enough if you talk to me. I will be working every day this summer to get better and find more ways to improve as a quarterback. This off-season is big for me and I will be going hard looking for that right opportunity to take my talents to the next level.”
