Cameron Scott: Class of 2016 Spotlight

Ayn Rand once said, “The ladder of success is best climbed by stepping on the rings of opportunity. “

Cameron Scott took his opportunity on the football field as he transitioned into becoming a first time starter at Presbyterian Christian School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Scott is a 5’8”, 180-pound junior running back with a 35” vertical and 4.25 shuttle.

Since becoming a starter, Scott has been making a name for himself.

At the end of the 2014 season, Scott compiled 700 yards rushing, 15 touchdowns and received letters from the University of Arizona.

However, Scott has yet to receive an offer.

“I would love to have an offer,” Scott said. “It would mean a lot.”

With the attitude that Scott brings to the field, a long with his talent, he will be a great asset to any roster.

“I’m a hard worker, day in and day out,” Scott said. “I’m willing to compete everyday.”
