Something to Consider: Ford ran a laser timed 4.55 40-yard dash at the Under Armour Combine this past January. He recently visited Boston College and they are very high on him.
CLEEZY’S TAKE: Ford is clearly one of the top 3 signal callers in the state of Pennsylvania. Ford was destined to be “big time” ever since his sophomore year where he shared quarterback duties with a senior player. He lost his number one weapon in Adam Brenneman (rated as the #1 tight end before tearing his ACL before his senior season in 2012, now at Penn State) and still put up excellent passing numbers. He is a true student of the game and is one of the most fundamentally sound quarterbacks in the country. Ford also has great footwork and shows nice poise in the pocket. He can make almost any kind of throw and even though he doesn’t run the ball often, he is very mobile. Right now he only has two offers but we expect that count to start rising once he starts throwing for college coaches in person. Ford will be participating in the PA SWAG Northeast Elite 7 on 7 Passing Camp on April 13-14, 2013. Check out some of his 2012 season highlights below.
