Kyle’s 2012 Highlights

Coach Warren: Facilities, Uniforms, Tradition, Coaching Staff, Education? Which factor or combination of factors will be most important in your school choice?
KR: To me, the most important factor to me would have to be education. After that it would be location, coaching staff, and then facilities.

Coach Warren: Is playing closer to home a big deal?
KR: While it would be preferred, I would not mind playing away from home.

Coach Warren: Is early playing time important?
KR: Not necessarily, I understand if the coach wants me to red shirt in order to develop me as a player.

Coach Warren: What was your favorite college team growing up?
KR: As a kid I would go to the Fresno State games quite a bit since it was local so I would have to say them.

Coach Warren: Who is your favorite College football coach and why?
KR: I would have to say Coach Shaw from Stanford. He seems to know how to manage an all around quality team.

Coach Warren: Have you been invited to any Jr. Days or Combines?
KR: Cal, Stanford, Fresno State, Nevada, UNLV, San Diego State, Oregon State, Washington, and Air Force have all said that they would like for me to attend their camp to see what I can do at tight end since I played left tackle last year.

Coach Warren: What teams are showing you interest?
KR: As mentioned before, many teams are inviting me to their camps in order to get a better look at what I can do at TE since I played left tackle last year.

Coach Warren: Favorites? What stands out about your favorites?
KR: Stanford and Cal are my two favorites as of now. Both provide stellar educational opportunities.

Coach Warren: Time frame on a college choice?
KR: I have no time frame.

Coach Warren: Will you take all your official visits?
KR: Depending on the situation, but, yes I will most likely use all of them.

Coach Warren: Have you taken any unofficial visits, are you planning some now?
KR: I traveled with former teammate David Wells who is attending San Diego State next year for their spring game. Other than that no.

Coach Warren: What schools are you interested in?
KR: Stanford, Cal, Washington, San Diego State, and Fresno State.

Coach Warren: What schools have offered you?
KR: None have offered me.

Coach Warren: What’s your favorite college football conference and why?
KR: It would most likely be the Pac-12. Growing up on the west coast I have mostly been surrounded by the Pac-12.

Coach Warren: Who will win the BCS National Championship this season and why?
KR: It will be very hard to beat Alabama this next year.

Coach Warren: What are your camp plans for the summer?
KR: I am currently planning on attending the amps at Cal, Stanford, and San Diego State.

Coach Warren: What camps did you attend last summer?
KR: I did not attend any camps last summer.

Coach Warren: What Person has inspired you the most in your life and why?
KR: My mother has been the most inspirational person in my life. During this last year, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. During the season she was going through chemotherapy and surgery and only missed one game, the only athletic event of mine that she has missed. She was a warrior during the about 8-month span and was blessed to come out on top in her fight. Her strength and composure during that time was truly inspirational, and that is why I look up to her.
