Basketball: 2016 Point Guard

I had the pleasure of speaking with a 2016, 6’3, Taylor County High School (Campbellsville, Ky) Point Guard named Quentin Goodin. He has quite a few schools on his list yet, which is to be expected of a 2016 recruit of course. They include: Wake Forest, Illinois, Ohio St., Butler, Xavier, Samford, NKU, WKU, UAB, West Virginia, Tennessee, Oklahoma St., Indiana and Kentucky. He also has offers from a few of those which include: Samford, NKU, WKU, West Virginia, Tennessee, Oklahoma St. and Indiana.

The last visit (unofficial) taken was to Kentucky during the Big Blue Madness festives. He also received some words of wisdom from Coach John Calipari himself that night:

“If you wasn’t a good player you wouldn’t be on campus” and “keep improving your jump shot” -John Calipari

He also went on to tell me a few things that he liked about Kentucky in particular:

“I mostly like the atmosphere and how people come to support the games. Everybody is happy and friendly on campus and also the environment. It’s loud and the fans get into the game which makes the game more fun to play in.” -Quentin Goodin

Lastly he told what he thought his best strengths were on the court:

“Driving, passing, on ball defense.” -Quentin Goodin
