2014 Spotlight KeShawn Harris

KeShawn Harris

C/O 2014

6’1 225

Haynesville HS. (LA)

Strong, downhill runner, best on the inside. Good at waiting for his blocks to develop

Keep his feet moving on contact, falls forward when tackled, and is a load to bring down.

Has the speed and quickness to turn the corner with the ball.

Good instincts.

Good at run blocking.

Despite his height, Harris is not an upright runner. Runs with power behind his pads.

Good burst through holes.

Good hands.

Plays on an offense that features San Diego State commit Jerrell Jackson and All – State running back Cavonta Critton.

Reclassified to 2014 this summer

Keyshawn Harris should have been considered as one of Louisiana’s top prospects for the 2014 class.  Unfortunately, Harris fell one year behind in his academics as a result of transferring between Haynesville and Houston, Texas.

Haynesville High School has won 15 State titles. State runner up 7 times.

Haynesville returns every starter from last years’s state runner up team.

Rushed for over 600 yards last season.

Harris has taken unofficial visits to ULL and Miss State.

“I really enjoyed my trip to ULL. They showed a lot of love. Coach Hud is recruiting me.”

“I get a lot of mail from Miss State. I went to their Junior day, it was a nice experience.”

Harris is also receiving interest from Cincinnati, Arkansas State, Mcneese State and Ole Miss
